CHILI CRISP AVOCADO TOAST

This recipe features golden sourdough layered with creamy cottage cheese, drizzled hot honey, and sliced avocado,  topped with a runny egg fried in chili crisp oil.

INGREDIENTS

All you need for this recipe is: Chili crisp oil, Egg, Sourdough toast, Cottage cheese, Avocado, Hot honey, and Chives

Add the chili crisp oil to a nonstick pan over medium-low heat. Crack in the eggs and cook until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny.

STEP 1: FRY THE EGGS IN CHILI CRISP OIL 

STEP 2: TOAST THE BREAD

While the eggs cook, toast the sourdough until golden and crisp. Transfer to a plate.

STEP 3: BUILD THE BASE

Spread the cottage cheese over the toast in an even layer and try to cover the entire surface of the bread.

STEP 4: ADD HOT HONEY AND AVOCADO

Drizzle hot honey over the cottage cheese, then layer the avocado slices on top.

STEP 5: FINISH WITH EGGS AND CHIVES

Add the chili crisp fried egg on top and sprinkle with fresh chives. Serve immediately while the toast is crisp and the egg yolk is runny.
