VANILLA FUDGE

This is one of the best beginner fudge recipes because it’s nearly foolproof, and perfect for holiday cookie trays, gifting, or when you want something sweet in the fridge without baking.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS RECIPE

This vanilla fudge recipe sets quickly in the freezer, slices clean, and stores well. Plus you can dress it up with sprinkles, crushed cookies, or a drizzle of chocolate.

INGREDIENTS

This ingredient list couldn't be easier: Vanilla-flavored white baking chips, and Sweetened full-fat condensed milk

Line the bottom of an 8 x 4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper or cling film, leaving overhang on the sides so you can lift the fudge out later.

STEP 1: PREP THE PAN

STEP 2: MELT

Add vanilla baking chips and condensed milk to a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15 to 30 second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted, smooth, and very thick.

STEP 3: SPREAD

Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula. If you want, create gentle swirls or patterns on top.

STEP 4: CHILL

Freeze until set, about 30 minutes, or until firm to the touch. If you take it out and it's soft to touch, chill a little longer.

STEP 5: SLICE

Lift fudge out using the parchment overhang. Let it sit at room temp a few minutes, then cut into pieces with a sharp knife.

STORAGE TIPS

This fudge can be refrigerated in an airtight container for 1 week or kept in the freezer for up to 2 months. Just thaw the fudge on the counter before serving.
