WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS RECIPE

These crispy fried chicken fries are dipped into a roasted garlic aioli that tastes like something you would get at a legit burger spot.

INGREDIENTS FOR THE FRIES

– Chicken breast – Garlic powder – Onion powder – Dried red chili flakes – Salt – Black pepper – All-purpose flour – Eggs – Breadcrumbs – Vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 375°F. Place the halved garlic bulb on foil. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Wrap and place on a rimmed pan. Roast 30-35 minutes.

STEP 1: ROAST THE GARLIC

STEP 2: MAKE THE GARLIC AIOLI

Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a bowl and mash into a paste. Add remaining aioli ingredients. Whisk until smooth.

STEP 3: SLICE AND SEASON THE CHICKEN

Slice the chicken into thin strips about 1/2 inch wide so they resemble fries. Season with salt and pepper.

STEP 4: SET UP THE BREADING STATION

In one bowl, whisk eggs until well beaten. In another bowl, combine flour and seasonings. In another bowl, add breadcrumbs.

STEP 5: BREAD THE CHICKEN FRIES

Coat each chicken strip in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Dip into the egg, letting extra drip off. Press into breadcrumbs to coat well.

STEP 6: FRY UNTIL CRISPY

Heat oil in a large pot  until it reaches 350°F. Fry chicken strips in batches, 2 to 4 minutes per side, turning as needed, until golden brown and cooked through.

STEP 7: SERVE

Serve chicken fries hot with roasted garlic aioli on the side for dipping, or with any other dipping sauce you want.

PRO TIPS
